4 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech

O V E R V I E W

✔️ Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Nkob Departure from Marrakech in the morning. We cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260m), with several stops for panoramic views and small Berber villages. We then visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO site and backdrop for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones). After lunch, we continue through Ouarzazate and the Draa Valley, with its palm groves and kasbahs, until we reach Nkob village, home to more than 45 ancient kasbahs. Dinner & overnight in a traditional guesthouse in Nkob. ✔️Day 2: Nkob – Alnif – Rissani – Merzouga (Sahara Desert) After breakfast, we drive through Alnif and Tazzarine, crossing scenic desert plateaus. We stop in Rissani, famous for its traditional market and Berber pizza, and continue to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara dunes. In Merzouga, we enjoy a camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi to our luxury desert camp. The evening includes a traditional Berber dinner, music, and stargazing around the campfire. Dinner & overnight in luxury camp, Merzouga. Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley Early risers can witness the magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we leave Merzouga and drive towards Todra Gorge, a dramatic canyon popular with climbers. We take time for a short walk through the gorge before continuing towards the Dades Valley, with its stunning rock formations and kasbahs. Dinner & overnight in a hotel in Dades Valley. ✔️Day 4: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech Breakfast at the hotel.
